Job Description
As a Family Support Worker, you play an essential role in supporting, guiding, and advising families, with the aim of creating a healthy and strong-functioning family system. You are ultimately responsible for the guidance and direction of the care trajectory, helping the family to achieve an optimal parenting relationship. Through pedagogical conversations with the family system and the client, you contribute to clarifying the care needs and ensure that all involved parties are recognized as equal partners in the process.

In this role, you gather valuable information for the development and evaluation of the family support plan, together with the family and the client. You closely monitor progress and collaborate intensively with behavioral specialists and pedagogical staff. In crisis situations, you identify risks in a timely manner and, in consultation with the care manager, take appropriate interventions—such as engaging external support—to ensure a safe environment for all family members.

In addition, you actively participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and intake and admission interviews. You provide training sessions and educational support aimed at strengthening the competencies of the client and the family. You also contribute to the further development of methodologies and professional expertise within family support services and your team.

What makes this role truly unique is the connection to your Christian identity. You work from the talents God has given you and use them, rooted in faith, to care for families. You consciously choose to integrate Christian values into your professional practice, thereby not only contributing to the well-being of families but also serving as a positive and inspiring role model within the community.
